4 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 medium egg

1 cup all purpose flour
1/8 tablespoon salt, to taste
1/3 tablespoon baking powder
For the garnish:
1 egg white, lightly beaten
1/2 cup pistachio nut, chopped
1/2 cup sesame seed, toasted lightly golden
History of the food: they would eat the cookies during the war to keep up with there energy and the sesame bread is in most hamburger buns and even in bagels and the food mostly used in most bread

How to make it: Step1) Mix the butter and the sugar until beaten
Step2) Then mix all of the other ingredients together until the dough is soft ( if it is to soft then freeze for an hour in fridge)
Step3) Divide it into 18 pieces to make a small baraziq
Step4) Make oven temp to 350F then put the cookies on parchment paper
Step5) Make every piece of dough into a 2 1/2 inches across then repeat step
Step6) Put the egg whites, pistachio, and sesame seeds into a separated bowls for each.
Step7) Dip each cookie in the egg whites then in the pistachio ON ONE SIDE then the sesame seeds make sure there toasted on the other side
Step8) Put them on the baking sheet pistachio side down
Step9) Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until they are golden brown
